The past two summers have seen nano'ers flock to High Park to share sun, stories, food and fun. This year we're relocating the picnic/potluck to the backyard of one of our most notorious writers.
Errol and his family have kindly offered to host the potluck at their home in the Danforth/Greenwood area on Saturday, June 27, from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. Please RSVP by email to errol(at)elumir.com or on Facebook, and let Errol or me know if you need the location and directions.

In case you have to miss the potluck or you just can't get enough NaNo goodness, we're planning a second Toronto NaNo summer event for August. This one will be organized by Mississauga's Ryan Harron.
Ryan says: "After the success of November's NaNoWriMo Karaoke, we were thinking that having another one of those events would be a great way to bring a close to summer and start off the pre-Nano season! Details are still pending, but we'll most likely be returning to XO Karaoke on Bloor [near Christie], and we're looking at August 23 as a date for the event. More details to come later!"

So the half way point has been passed, but there's still plenty of time to write! I will be hosting the next writing session/social at Panera Bread back in 'Sauga.
Panera is a great location, with good seating, free wifi, and lots of outlets. They have the usual coffee and snacks, but they also have great sandwiches, salads, and soups so it's a perfect place to grab a bite of dinner while writing!
After great deliberation, we've decided to combine food and zombies for a dinner 'n a movie extravaganza. Join us April 16th for both or either!
The fun begins at 5:30 pm with an early dinner at Fresh, a vegetarian restaurant at Bloor/Spadina. Check out the link below for more info, including a menu and map.
A day before the subway writing session, we'll meet for an informal social to celebrate the first weekend of Script Frenzy - all are welcome: friends, spouses, NaNoWriMo-ers, etc.
We will reserve a few tables, but if you RSVP on Facebook or the SF forums and demand is high we will ask for more tables.
